These terms apply to your use of sottileintimates.com (the "Site") and to any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. About us

The Site is operated by Sottile ("we", "us", "our").

2. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Our products are sold to consumers for personal use only. We currently deliver to UK addresses only.

3. Products

We try to show our products as accurately as possible. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, and measurements in size guides are approximate. Please check the size guide before ordering. All products are subject to availability.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order.
If we discover a pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch. You may then confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. If the error is obvious, we are not obliged to supply the item at the incorrect price.

5. Offers and discount codes

From time to time we run offers, such as "Buy 3, pay for 2" (the lowest-priced item of each 3 is free). Royal Mail Standard delivery is free on all UK orders. Unless stated otherwise:

offers apply automatically at checkout to eligible items only;
offers and discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined with other offers or discount codes;
we may change or end an offer at any time, but this will not affect orders already placed.

6. Your order and our contract with you

After you place an order, you'll receive an email acknowledging it. Our contract with you is formed when we send you an email confirming your order has been dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is out of stock, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraud). If this happens we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

7. Delivery

Delivery options, costs and estimated times are set out in our Shipping Policy. Your order is our responsibility until it is delivered to the address you gave us.

8. Your right to cancel and returns

You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items. Full details, including the hygiene rules for briefs and bodysuits, are in our Returns & Refund Policy.

9. Your legal rights

We are required by law to supply products that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For advice about your legal rights, contact Citizens Advice (www.citizensadvice.org.uk) or Consumer Advice Scotland.

10. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.

We supply products for domestic and private use only and are not liable to you for any loss of profit or business.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, carrier strikes, extreme weather or supplier disruption). If this happens, we will contact you and you may cancel your order for a full refund of anything you have paid for products not received.

12. Use of the Site and intellectual property

All content on the Site, including the Sottile name and logo, photographs, text and designs, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission. You must not misuse the Site, for example by introducing viruses or trying to gain unauthorised access.

13. Reviews and content you submit

If you submit a review or other content, it must be honest and must not be offensive or unlawful. You give us permission to display it on the Site and our social media. We may remove content at our discretion.

14. Privacy

We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those on the Site when you placed it.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
